Dr Natalie Pride

Dr Natalie Pride is leader of the Neuropsychology Research Team within the Kids Neuroscience Centre and a clinical neuropsychologist at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. She currently leads the NF1 Learning Clinic with over 15 years of experience in neuropsychological management of children and adolescents.  Her qualifications include a Masters in Clinical Neuropsychology and a PhD in Paediatrics and Child Health.

Natalie’s research focuses on understanding the neuropsychology and neurobiological mechanisms underlying various paediatric disorders and their associated manifestations.  She has a special interest in sleep psychology, social cognition, ADHD and neurogenetic disorders such as Neurofibromatosis type 1. She has national and international research collaborators for her work investigating the link between genetic, cognitive and brain abnormalities in NF1 and various clinical trials.

Natalie’s research has been published in key journals in her field of expertise including Human Brain Mapping, Cortex, Neuropsychology, and Neurology.
